This is an ideal game for children ages 3 years and older. This game will make learning Compound words fun. The students will receive the 10 compound words pictured and 5 bonus words. The compound word is show whole and the two words that makes the compound word in separate pictures. The students then match the words up.

The teacher says "My word is Hotdog. What is hotdog without dog?" Using the cards you can take dog away and help the child visually see it and kinesthetic stimulate the child's hands on approach. With practice they will be able to do it without the cards. Great to support reading and word recognition.


Pre-Reading Skills:
